Our History
The history of the Camarlinghi Group reflects the history of the Camarlinghi family, a history of love for wood and work, based on values of honesty and tenacity.
A story that began in 1930, with Oreste, and developed thanks to the entrepreneurial vision of his son Giorgio, who transformed a small carpentry workshop into an innovative company by introducing new technologies and value-added products.
The first commercial document traces the roots of the company back to 1794, when Antonio Camarlinghi traded his first shipment of timber.
Today, the company is run by Michele and Sara, who have introduced new technologies to create increasingly innovative and quality products, allowing the company to enter new markets, including international ones.
Timeline
Oreste Camarlinghi founded the first joinery, laying the foundations of a story that still lasts today and that constantly looks to the future.
TOSCANAGARDEN is born. A new line aimed at the outdoor world: in particular small houses wood and garden furniture, proudly Made in Italy.
Start marketing biofuels such as pellets, firewood, logs and charcoal. A business decision that immediately proved successful.
Thanks to partnerships with some of Northern Europe's leading sawmills, we started supplying construction timber to the major Italian distribution chains.
By investing in advanced technology, a configurator was designed to provide the customer with a fully customised house according to their specific needs.
The Group is continuing its progress and is aiming for a more international outlook. Creativity and a desire to experiment continue to inspire their actions. And the story continues...
